Magnificent Taiwan
( 11 Days Premium Tour Around Taiwan )

Taiwan is home to a great number of magnificent and world-renowned sights. This tour incorporates them all – visit the Taroko, Sun Moon Lake, Alishan Scenic Area and ancient Tainan city, along the Central Cross-lsland Highway from east side to west side.

Day 1

Arrival

  • After you claim your luggage and walk out of the arrival hall, our guide will greet you by holding a sign with your name at the airport and take you to your hotel.

  • After refresh and some rest, Our guide will take you to the Ningxia night market to experience the street food.

Day 3

Northern coast

  • Jiufen Old Street was originally a gold mining town during the Japanese colonial era and is now known for its narrow streets lined with traditional red lanterns, teahouses, souvenir shops, and delicious street food. You can try local specialties such as peanut ice cream rolls, taro balls, and tea eggs while enjoying panoramic views of the ocean and mountains.

 

  • Visit Shifen district, set off the sky lantern and walk along the railway between the beautiful village.

  • 101 is an iconic landmark and the tallest skyscraper in Taipei. The building was completed in 2004 and held the title of world's tallest building until 2010. 101 has become a symbol of Taipei and is a popular tourist attraction, especially at night when it's illuminated by colorful lights.

Day 4

Taroko National Park

  • Today we will request you to start the tour early, because we have almost 3 hours driving to Taroko, which is located in the east of Taiwan, on the way you will see a spectacular coastline of the Pacific Ocean.

​

  • We highly recommend having a short-stay in Jiaoxi, which is well known for hot spring, you can experience feet soaking with natural hot spring, the other option is cold spring in Suao.

​

  • Qingshui Cliff is the best place to see beautiful cliffs and the wide Pacific Ocean.

​

  • Arriving in Taroko National Park, in time we will visit the Eternal Spring Shrine and the Swallow Grotto before checking into our preferred hotel inside the national park.

​

  • This property has excellent food and spa services, outdoor pools, cinema and an amazing gorge view inside your room.

Day 2

Taipei Sightseeing

  • The National Palace Museum is a museum that houses an extensive collection of artwork and artifacts from Chinese history and culture. Its collection spans over 8,000 years of Chinese history, with over 700,000 pieces of ancient imperial artifacts and artworks, including calligraphy, paintings, ceramics, bronze statues, jade carvings, and more.

​

  • The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is a popular tourist attraction, and visitors can watch the changing of the guard ceremony, learn about Chiang Kai-shek's life and legacy, and enjoy the beautiful park surrounding the monument.

 

  • Longshan temple is also a must see in Taipei, our guide will teach you a lot of temple ceremony in Taiwan.

  • At night, our guide will be a gourmet and guide you at the Ximendingnight market.

Day 5 

Explore Taroko

  • Today's tour can start as late as you like, exploring the river by terrain vehicle, there is a coach will lead you get through the river and take beautiful pictures with you.​

​

  • There are some nice trails in Taroko National Park we highly recommend to you, such as Sakadang and Baiyang Trail.

​​

Day 6

Central Cross-Island highway

  • Today we will pass through the most beautiful Central Cross-Island highway to Sun Moon Lake, if the weather cooperates we should get a great view of the mountain.

​​

  • Hehuan mountain is one of Taiwan's 100 peaks and it is suitable for beginner hiking, explore with us to find out what is attractive in Taiwan Mountain. You can see the sea the Rhododendron in the May.

​​

  • At 3237 meters, Shimen Mountain is #66 on Taiwan’s 100 Peak list and is the easiest of Taiwan’s high peaks to climb. Shimenshan is the shortest hike up to one of the 100 peaks.

​

  • In the evening, our guide will guide you around the ItaThao street market.

​

Day 7

Sun Moon Lake

  • Enjoy the hotel facility on the morning.

  • One of the best ways to experience the beauty of the lake is through a morto boat tour. The tour takes you on a relaxing journey around the lake, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and scenery.

​

  • Cien Pagoda was built by Chiang Kai-Shek in 1971 in remembrance of his mother, here is the best place to overlooking whole Sun Moon Lake.

​

  • Wenwu temples are Chinese temples that combine deities from literature and war. This temple has halls dedicated to the God of War, the Warrior God, the God of Literature, and Confucius.

Day 8

Alishan National Park

  • Alishan is another National Park worth exploring in Taiwan, the high mountain Oolong tea and aboriginal culture are waiting for you.

  • YUYUPA, which means "abundance and well-being" in the Tsou language, is the name of a cultural village located in the Alishan Township at an elevation of 1,300 meters. Covering an area of three hectares, the YUYUPA AlishanTsou Cultural Village is surrounded by tea and coffee plantations, vibrant flowers, and fluttering butterflies. Within this culturally rich environment inspired by the Tsou people, you can enjoy a premium Alishan tea and coffee experience.

Day 9

Tainan

  • The sunrise of Alishan is an activity on every tourist's wish list. We'll wake up around 04:30 am and take an old style mountain train up to the peak, our guide will guide you to the best area to see the sunrise.

​

  • Have a refresh or nap time before breakfast. Alishan National Park, we suggest you experience mountain rail-way once at least, then our guide will take you to enjoy the forest by slowly walking.

​

  • Afternoon we are going to the biggest city in south Taiwan.

​

  • Tainan is a city located in southern Taiwan and is known for its rich history and cultural heritage. As Taiwan's oldest city, Tainan boasts a wealth of historical sites, including temples, forts, and museums, as well as a variety of delicious local cuisine.

​

Day 10

Tainan and back to Taipei

  • In the morning our guide will take you to Ten-Drum Cultural Village, where used to be a huge sugar plant back in the Japanese-colonial period, watching the drum performances, experiencing drumming and the game facility !

​​

  • ChikanTower  is one of the most fascinating historical buildings in all of Taiwan. Originally built as a fort by the Dutch in the 1653, it was later made into two Chinese temples.

​

  • This is the first built Confucian temple in Taiwan. It was built in 1665, he was the most famous Chinese teacher and philosopher, affect eastern culture very much.

​

  • Our guide will transfer you to Taipei High Speed Rail station, enjoy the 300km/hour speed to Taipei main station. (Business class)

Departure

  • Our guide will send you to airport before three hours of your departure.
